TSWCA Registration and Cancellation Policy

The following classes are sponsored by Three Sisters Wildfire Contractors Association (TSWCA) and will be held in Sisters and Albany, Oregon unless otherwise stated. All fire classes sponsored by TSWCA meet or exceed NWCG standards. Upon successful course completion, students will receive Certificates of Completion from certified trainers of TSWCA.  Students must have the appropriate prerequisites to attend certain courses.

The Pacific Northwest Wildfire Coordination Group (PNWCG) has entered into memorandums of understanding (MOU's) with representatives of two groups of training providers.  The groups are firefighter contractor associations and public education providers.  TSWCA is a firefighter contractor association with a valid MOU.  To view valid associations and public education providers click [Valid MOU's]     

Class Registration

Space is limited for all classes so please register early! We can not hold spaces for individuals or contractors without pre-payment or a purchase order. All fees listed include course materials. To register for Wildland Fire Courses, please call Dan Boettner at (541) 549-8375 or [Register Online] TSWCA can not hold spaces for individuals without pre-payment or purchase order.  Confirmation letters or emails and/or applicable pre-work will be sent approximately 2 weeks prior to the class provided financial arrangements/payment has been received.

Cancellation Policy  

TSWCA reserves the right to cancel a course for which there is insufficient enrollment.  We will make every effort to provide as much advanced notice as possible.  If this should happen, we will either reschedule the class or provide a full refund of class and materials fees.

Two week notice:  Once you register for classes, you will remain registered and will be held responsible for the fees and grades assessed for these classes unless you cancel your registration at least two weeks in advance.  

Student Registration Substitutions

Association members can substitute registered students anytime prior to class, by providing the new individuals name to Dan Boettner at 541-549-8375 or via email [email protected].   Non-members must provide substitute notifications no less than one week prior to class to Dan Boettner at 541-549-8375. 

Un-registering for Class 

If you decide not to attend a class for which you are registered, you must provide notification to Dan Boettner at 541-549-8167 or via email [email protected] two weeks prior to the class date.  If you do not cancel within two weeks of the registered course you will be charged full course fees.  Association Members will be given an additional week to cancel registrations.  

Refund Policy:  

100% refund with two weeks notice, less a $20 processing and materials fee.
